Terms of service
These terms apply to the Valloon pre-launch landing page, waitlist and preview materials. Valloon is not yet a full paid product. Final launch terms may be updated before accounts, payments, AI tutor memory, uploads or subscriptions become available.
1. What Valloon is
Valloon is being built as an AI tutor for GCSE and IGCSE Science. The aim is to teach content so students understand it, practise questions with them, and help turn mistakes into the next thing to fix. The current site is a pre-launch preview and waitlist, not the finished learning platform.
2. Who can use the preview
The preview is intended for students, parents and supporters interested in Valloon. If you are under 18, you should use the site with appropriate parent or guardian awareness. If you are under 13, do not submit the waitlist form unless a parent or guardian has agreed.
3. Waitlist and early access
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, timing, availability, a particular feature, a particular exam board, a free product or a specific launch date. Valloon may prioritise early access based on route demand, product readiness, safety, capacity and other reasonable factors.
4. Education only; no grade guarantee
Valloon is designed for learning support. It is not a school, exam board, awarding organisation, regulated qualification provider or replacement for a teacher. Valloon does not guarantee grades, marks, admission outcomes or exam results. Any research or statistics shown on the site are examples of the learning problem, not Valloon performance claims.
5. Academic integrity
You must not use Valloon to cheat, break school rules, misuse secure or locked exam materials, get prohibited help with live assessments, or submit AI-generated work where that is not allowed. Do not upload or share exam-board secure materials, unreleased papers, controlled assessment tasks, confidential school materials or anything you do not have permission to use.
6. Exam board names
References to GCSE, IGCSE, AQA, Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge or other exam boards are descriptive only, unless Valloon expressly says otherwise. Valloon is not endorsed by, approved by, affiliated with or sponsored by any exam board.
7. Content and intellectual property
The Valloon name, brand, design, copy, artwork and original materials belong to Valloon or its licensors. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial interest in the product. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, modify, frame or commercially exploit Valloon materials without permission.
8. Information you submit
If you submit waitlist information, you confirm that it is accurate enough for Valloon to contact you and understand your route interest. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, confidential, copyrighted, sensitive or school-restricted material. You give Valloon permission to use your waitlist answers for launch communication, route planning and pre-launch product decisions as explained in the Privacy policy.
9. Third-party services
The waitlist is currently provided through Typeform. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, security practices and availability limits. Valloon is not responsible for third-party services beyond what the law requires.
10. Future paid services and consumer rights
The current waitlist is free. If Valloon later offers paid subscriptions, digital content or services, the checkout flow and launch terms should explain price, renewal, cancellation, refund rights and any legally required pre-contract information. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Liability
Valloon provides the preview on an as-is and as-available basis. Valloon does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Valloon is not responsible for losses caused by unavailable preview features, delayed launch timing, reliance on pre-launch materials, or uses that break these terms.
12. Changes and contact
Valloon may update these terms as the product develops. If the operating entity changes or a full paid product launches, the terms will be updated to identify the correct legal entity and governing terms. Questions can be sent to hello@valloon.com.
